Reclad of Terraced Houses
In 2007 PBS Contracting Ltd were engaged to carry out a complete reclad of 32 terraced houses in four blocks to meet the current Building Regulations.
The project entailed:-
1. Systematic removal of existing cladding;
2. Removal of windows and doors;
3. Removal of existing deteriorated wall framing;
4. Removal of deteriorated floor joists and flooring;
5. Installation of new floor joists and flooring;
6. Installation of new timber wall framing;
7. Re-cladding of exteriors with Eterside bevel back weatherboards
and Eterpan on the VentClad cavity system with a Sto plaster finish;
8. Installation of new internal linings and redecoration of interiors;
9. Removal of external decks;
10. Reconstruction of external decks, and Roof replacement.

The project is running exactly to programme and budget with the first two blocks being completed during 2007, and the remaining two before the end of the third quarter of 2008.
